Konvencija dėl tarptautinės reikšmės šlapžemių, ypač vandens paukščių buveinių, apsaugos statusas T sritis ekologija ir aplinkotyra apibrėžtis 1971 m. Ramsare (Iranas) priimta tarptautinė konvencija, kurios tikslas – užtikrinti ilgalaikį šlapžemių, jų floros ir faunos išsaugojimą, kiekvienos šalies nacionalinę politiką derinant su koordinuojamais tarptautiniais veiksmais. Lietuva ratifikavo 1993 m. atitikmenys: angl. Convention on Wetlands; Convention on Wetlands of International Importance Especially as Waterfowl Habitat; Ramsar Convention vok. Übereinkommen über Feuchtgebiete, insbesondere als Lebensraum für Wasser- und Watvögel, von internationaler Bedeutung, n; Ramsar-Konvention, f rus. Конвенция о водноболотных угодьях, имеющих международное значение, главным образом, в качестве местообитания водоплавающих птиц, f; Рамсарская конвенция, f ryšiai: sinonimas – Ramsaro konvencija
